Changes

It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.
/Alan Cohen

I'm not really into change. I like comfort and stability and the familiar. But every now and then, the sense that it is time far a change invades the recesses of consciousness, and then God says, "Voila! This is your new path." This quote inspired me as we head into some serious change in the coming month. Courage...adventurous...exciting...movement...life...power. I want those words to replace the ones playing in my mind presently: overwhelmed...uncertainty...stress...exhausted...pressure.

  2. Thanks, I needed this. We face some possible major changes in the near future, too, and it is easy to be fearful of the unknown. I'll be praying for you.
