We finished all the Little House on the Prarie books this winter, which everyone except the 3yo really enjoyed, and have moved on. We read The Five Little Peppers (written about a 130 years ago) last month, and will hopefully be able to continue that series after the next trip to the library. In the meantime, we have returned to the Betsy-Tacy series, and are reading the second book. It was very fun the other night to hear B giggling quietly to herself on the couch after we read about the girls begging for food and how they described one of them standing with her mouth hanging open making "hungry noises."
