A scrapbook challenge

This challenge really appealed to me for some reason! It was all planned out and required only things that were already on hand. It did take me a little longer - more like 30 to 45 minutes - but that is a personal issue. The only variation was the addition of some black ink around the paper strips because they were too light against the white background. It was tempting to add a little something else such as a flower or something, but I decided to "let it go" and call it good enough. Wonder how many times this layout could be repeated in an album without it being too much? It was SO easy! Recently, G told me he liked the "scrapbooked" pages better than "those books you order (such as from Snapfish, etc.)." He said he likes that they are "more decorated." Good to know that the effort is appreciated!
*Side note: My word for the year was ACTION, and this was an application. The challenge was posted and instead of just thinking I'd get around to it sometime, I DID it!

  1. Ok, I'm going to do this tonight! I have extra kids here today but tonight I'll get one page done. I've been dying to scrap but never feel like I can justify the time. I'll try to post the page when I'm done.
