Updates...

Garden:
While we were gone, most of seedlings survived and are doing pretty well. Here are some lettuce and spinach plants, peas, squash, a baby aspen tree that was damaged by the snow, and the cherry tree, which not only isn't going to have fruit, is apparently not going to have many leaves, either
.

Here are some more appealing sites:

Some recycling by the younger set - a slingshot made from broken balloons and a spear and knife made like in the old days except with duct tape instead of sinew or leather! Unfortunately the spear sustained some damage in trial runs - not the right kind of rock apparently.

Well, there were several other things I had hoped to write, but my attention is required by the younger set and that is important!

  1. I love the ingenuity of kids!

    And the flowers are beautiful.

And I do see life in the first photos. I just love that there's hope! LOL!
