We now live close to Grandpa, who is very passionate about showing beef cows. Here is Little G with a pretty girl, practicing for the big day (which was yesterday).
Here is B, who was determined to show this young bull calf. If you could enlarge and see the number written in under "weight" on the white tag she is wearing, you would see that the animal she is leading around weighs 930 pounds, which is roughly 13x her weight.
L is a bit too young and little for all this cow showing business, though she goes out and pets them and hangs out while they are out working with them sometimes. She helped me pick some lettuce out of the garden while the other two were practicing one day recently. 
Another day, we dug potatoes.
