The next morning, she was still alive when we got up, but later in the day when we returned from an outing, she was gone. B grieved for 2-3 days but has gotten a little better each day. It has helped that we've had a lot going on to distract her.Goodbye, sweet Rose! You were a great pet!
Oh bless her heart! So sorry for you loss. Family pets are like another family member, whether toad, turtle, guinea pig or cat. So hard when they die! God bless you!

ReplyDeleteoh goodness. so sorry for that loss. i had guinea pigs growing up. they are the perfect pets for little kids to learn about taking care of another life and the eventual death that comes with that. we are currently missing a kitty, so my girls and have been on the hunt looking for her every morning and every afternoon. no luck yet. thanks for stopping in to visit mermaids and mamas! we are so looking forward to it!
