New blog link
One of my daughters has wanted to start a blog for a while now, and today we finally got it up and running. Hopefully it will be a great opportunity for her to develop her writing, typing, and computer skills. I'm not sure how often she'll post, but it would be great if you could stop by and encourage her there! Click here to check it out! I have set it up so that all comments are moderated (by me) before being posted, as a protection measure for her.

My daughter, Emily of Super Stitches, www.sewingsister.blogspot.com, is enjoying her blog very much. It is helping her with typing, writing, spelling, creativity, communication and people skills and attention to detail. As far as special precautions, I am very involved. I approve or disapprove, as the case may be, who she visits and who she signs up to follow and who she places on her blog roll. I thoroughly check out each blog she is interested in. I read all of her comments she sends and receives and her posts, giving suggestions and looking for any red flags from others. We haven't had any problems. There was only one blog we wouldn't allow her to follow that she had found. We have also instructed her not to give personal information as to where she lives, her email address and so forth. On her profile her location states that she is from the United States, not her actual town. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. And good luck.
