Birthdays, graduations, weddings, mission trips, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc.

This seems to be the "gifty" time of year around here, almost more so than at Christmas time. All those things listed above and more!

Geoff and I are both in the circumstance where our birthdays fall a week or two before Mother's Day and Father's Day. He always is very generous to me, and it seems like I can usually come up with a list of ideas. But when it comes to things for him, I tend to be stumped. This would be a better Father's Day idea, but here is his birthday gift:
This actually benefits me as well, but we often give each other gifts like that! It is a framed impression of each child's handprint in FIMO clay. I've had the clay around here for months with this project in mind and finally did it. It did take a little time and effort, but wasn't too bad. I am one who tends to put things off because I have this feeling that it is going to take forever and be a big deal, but it usually isn't as bad as I think it is going to be, and feels good to have it done.
Anyway, after checking the calendar, it hit me that there are a lot of occasions for which cards are needed in the next few weeks, which pretty much have to be made tonight or never... Also have a movie home from the library that needs to go back in the next two days. Guess it is going to be a late night!!!
